Our Story
There has been a glass shop at 1 Abel Street for generations. The Healey name has been on it since the 1960s, and it is still the same address and the same phone number. Healey Glass & Door is locally owned and operated, and we work out of that same shop today, measuring, cutting and installing glass for homes and businesses in Smiths Falls and the towns around it.
Most of what we do is ordinary and important. A fogged sealed unit in a kitchen window. A shower enclosure measured to a tiled opening that is not quite square. A patio door that will not latch. A screen re-meshed at the counter while you wait. The people who measure are the people who install, so if something is not right, you know where to find us.
How we work
We come out and measure, quote in writing, and install with our own crew. No surprises when the invoice comes. Every window and door line we carry is made in Canada, and we will tell you when a repair makes more sense than a replacement. Most "we need new windows" calls turn out to be one failed sealed unit.
We serve Smiths Falls, Perth, Carleton Place, Merrickville and the Rideau Lakes, and we will travel for the right job.
