Cottages and year-round homes across Rideau Lakes, from Rideau Ferry and Port Elmsley to Lombardy, Portland and both shores of Big Rideau, have more glass than most houses and take more weather. We handle the seasonal work, screens, patio doors, sealed units that fogged over the winter, railings for the deck, from our shop 15 minutes away in Smiths Falls.
Bring your screens in a batch in April and we will have them ready for the May long weekend. Fogged picture windows and patio door glass are measured in the spring and installed before the summer. In the fall, we replace what the season broke. Tempered glass deck and dock railings keep the view of the lake.
Ice, wind and branches: send a photo and we will tell you whether it is a glass replacement or a window replacement, and quote it in writing for your insurer. Bunkie and cottage bathrooms with small, odd showers are custom glass jobs, measured after tile and installed in one visit.
