Foggy or broken window? Replace the glass, not the window.
Most "we need new windows" calls are really one failed sealed unit. The frame is fine; the seal went and the glass fogged. We make a new sealed unit to size and swap it in.
We replace fogged or cloudy double-pane glass, cracked and broken panes from break-ins and storms, failed seals with water between the panes, single-pane glass in older wood windows, and patio door glass. Text us a photo or call. We can usually tell from the photo whether the unit can be replaced. We come out and measure, which takes about fifteen minutes per window. Your new sealed units are made to size, usually within a week or two, and we install them and clean up. Most swaps take under an hour per window.
Storm and break-in damage
Call us first. We board up if needed, measure, and get the glass replaced quickly. We give you the paperwork your insurer needs. If a frame is rotten, warped or leaking air, we will tell you: replacing glass in a bad frame wastes your money, and we would rather quote the right job.
Can you replace one pane of a double-pane window? No. A sealed unit is made as one piece, and we replace the whole unit, which is still a fraction of the cost of a new window. Timing: measured this week, installed typically within 7 to 14 days once the unit is made. You need to be home for the measure and usually for the install.
